Chili Challenge 2025
Chili Challenge... The fee is $60 ($35 is the competition fee and $25 is a deposit, which will be refunded at the event provided the competitor shows up with the minimum 3 gal. of chili, a heat source, tent with weights and serving table).

About the event
Date: November 15
Setup time: 9am to 10:30. Must be complete and chili at temperature by 10:30
Event start time: 11 am for VIP ticket holders, 11:30 for general admission
Event end time: 3:00 pm. Challengers must not begin breakdown until 3:00pm
Prizes will be announced and awarded at 3:20. They include:
Best Chili: 1st prize $200
2nd prize $150
3rd prize $100
Best decorated tent $50
Each attendee will get 1 token to use to vote for best chilis, FHP board members will choose best decorated tent
Each challenger is required to bring at least 3 gallons of chili, approximately equivalent to 2 or 3 large crockpots, or two full 6 quart Stock pots.
They must also bring their own 10 x 10 tent, tent weights, a serving table and heat source.
FHP will provide a serving ladle, cups, spoons, and napkins. Challengers must use our cups but they may add toppings of their choice.
